I was an Obama voter in 2008. While I was not a huge supporter of his, I found his social-issue policies better than the Republicans', and I was tired of 8 years of Bush-bashing. I thought the economy would likely take care of itself. Although I disagreed with his economic policies, I was willing to give them a try. I'm disappointed with his approach and his results with respect to the economy, and I don't find his social policies as small-government as I'd like. Mostly, though, I'm tired of being called a racist by Obama supporters merely because I disagree with the president's policies--it may not be Obama's fault, but I find it cowardly of him to constantly hide behind his race to avoid criticism.
