One thing you’ll notice is the absence of baby/toddler pictures above. The vast majority of activities Becky and I do, as you might imagine, involve Loyette in some way; and the vast majority of photos I take include her. But we’ve decided to institute a general policy of not posting baby or toddler pics on the new blog. There might be very occasional exceptions, but for the most part, you won’t be seeing our kids here. So, for those who would like to see Loyette, and her imminently arriving sister Loyacita: Sorry! But, obviously, I have to think of my family first, and my blog second (or third or fourth), and this is what we think is best for our kids at this point.
(For the uninitiated: “Loyette” and “Loyacita” are our daughters’ “blog nicknames,” not their real names, obviously.)
Another thing that’s missing from this photo recap of the last seven-plus months: We bought a house!! Of course I’m not posting pictures of it, either, because we don’t want to advertise exactly where we live. But, as of about two months ago, we are the proud owners of a beautiful single-family home here in Denver. Woohoo!!
Great pics! The one with the rainbow/superstition mountains looks like Springfield in the Simpsons movie.
Really beautiful photos, Brendan.
Especially like the shots of the moon and the Superstitions! So good to have TLT back.
